Connect Groups are at the very core of St Stephens Church

It’s the first steps to creating real and lasting relationships, grow an authentic community, and draw our focus towards God.

Want to join a Connect Group?

Find a group by day or location. Discover a place where you feel accepted, affirmed, and encouraged. Whoever you are and whatever you believe, there's a place for you to be yourself, make friends, and enjoy exploring faith.

  • Hello. We're Peter & Ian and our men's group is a relaxed place where we simply allow the bible to speak for us to gain a deeper relationship with God and we do this by open fellowship and high strength coffee. Come and join us

  • Hello! Our Connect Group meets at our home every fortnight on Tuesdays from 7.30PM. Our group is an enjoyable and prayerful place where we can learn and grow together through worship, study, prayer and developing gifts.

  • Hi, my name is Paul, I’m the Vicar of St Stephens, and together with three other Ministers, Bronwyn, Jan, Keith, we host a diverse Connect group that gets together. We meet IN PERSON. It's an open space to know God, engage in a relaxed version of a midweek service according to the APBA and enjoy friendship and support one another in prayer.

  • Hi, we're Bronwyn, Raymond, Mary and we jam! This is different to a usual connect group. We host and support each other through musical worship. Our aim is to provide a space for worship and practice the weeks songs. We pray, develop friendship, and laugh lots. You’re welcome to join us if you would like to sing and can play an instrument – get in touch and drop us message.

  • Hello! We're a super team with Kev’s Trinity Uniting Church. Youth & Young Adults (16 to Uni) is brilliant! …and keeps gets better.

Young Adult’s group is a life group and a relaxed place regardless of faith to develop fellowship, gain a deeper relationship with each other and with God – enjoy music, food, cutting edge sessions, groups, hang out, chill, share, mentoring… and we do this with plenty of enthusiasm and a massive amount of support from the parish. Come and join us.

  • Hi, my name is Paul, I’m the Vicar of St Stephens, and together with our six other Ministers, Elsa, Bronwyn, Philip, David, Jan, Keith, we host a diverse service that is somewhere between an Alpha group and a large Connect group that is a relaxed service with a communion on the first Sunday, every month and is open to those with and without faith, and multi-faith.

We emphasise testimony, friendship and fellowship with worship and scripture that seeks to invite discussion and exploration as a way of growth and support to one another and through prayer. Come and join us for a refreshing blend of warm and authentic fellowship with wine and worship.
